The Ancient Series is our nod to historical circuits, but are produced with modern reliability and a control set that allows for an expanded tonal palette. These pedals can achieve the historical sounds they are founded on, but can also produce more modern textures by utilizing their extra controls and a guitar's volume control. 

Each pedal in the Ancient Series uses New Old Stock (NOS) germanium transistors that are hand tested and matched to achieve the most best possible fuzz sounds. These germanium transistors are getting harder to find and only a small fraction of the transistors we test have the right parameters to be used in these pedals.
